The upper roxborough reservoir was a severely neglected, abandoned city water treatment facility overrun by invasive species. A special group of people came together to make this a place where people can enjoy, among other things, walking their dogs everyday. I was lucky enough to work closely with the roxborough manayunk conservancy to help carry this legacy on. In between my work chopping up the bad plants and planting the good ones, I would often stop to meet all these lovely dogs.
This book is dedicated to Kohl, my favorite reservoir dog of them all.
